Eurostaete

The time has come, there will be new neighbours! The plan for the area between Philips Stadium and Strijp-S is ready. After the consultation meeting in 2019 the plans have been further elaborated. We would like to present what Eurostaete will look like to you, the neighbours of this development. Do you have questions, do you want to participate? You are more than welcome.

A special place

Eurostaete is coming to a special place, next to Hartje Eindhoven. The office that is still there will be demolished. This will give us the opportunity to design and build a beautiful whole. With high-rise and stacked dwellings with a roof garden. Although there is also room on the ground floor for a number of lively and attractive shops and offices, Eurostaete is primarily intended as a residential area.

Living
Eurostaete will house 480 rental flats. The majority of the flats are intended for people with a middle income.

Shops and offices
The ground floors, particularly on the railway side, will be given a varied interpretation. A coffee corner, a bicycle repair shop, a dry cleaner, it's all possible. Good for the people who live in Eurostaete, but also good for the residents from the surrounding area.

Transport
For residents with a car there is room in the parking garage of PSV, but actually in this building we focus more on sustainable mobility. This means that we encourage residents to use public transport or to make use of one of the 29 shared cars that will become available. There will also be a special basement under the residential buildings for storing bicycles. The residents will not receive a parking permit. In this way, we want to prevent an increase in parking in the neighbourhood.

Pleasant surroundings
Eurostaete is intended to become a pleasant living environment for the new residents. They will have a communal roof garden with a greenhouse for urban agriculture. In addition, it must be a complement to the neighbourhoods around it.
